2024 Schedule and Pricing
In 2024 StudyPoint will offer only a few sessions each week by arrangement according to the timetable below. Please note: 1-1 is strictly 1 teacher to 1 student for the entire hour.
Available slots will be 60 minutes in duration and offered as either 1-1, 1-2 or grouped. Please note, if requesting a 1-2 or grouped session we leave it to you to organise the students attending - We do not form pairings or groups. Unlike 2023, days will NOT be set aside for specific year levels. We hope this change will help make it easier for our students to schedule tuition around any other commitments they may have.

Pricing
$60 per student per 60 min session 1-1 tuition (Yrs 9 - 11)
$65 per student per 60 min session 1-1 tuition (Yr 12)
$70 per student per 60 min session 1-1 tuition (Yr 13 )
$90 for two students per 60 min session 1-2 tuition
Should students wish to organise their own group (4+) then pricing will be provided upon request.

Payment is to be paid via online banking in advance of the lesson - You may choose to pay fortnightly or four weekly.

Although we have no ongoing contract, we ask students to provide us with at least two weeks advance notice if intending to leave.

Due to the need to prepare resources ahead of the lesson, venue hire and other operational costs, refunds will not be provided for missed lessons.
Waiting Lists
Tuition in 2024 will be limited. In the event that we have reached capacity we will happily add your name to a waiting list should a space become available.
Home Schooling
At StudyPoint we're happy to offer our tuition services to home schooled students during regular school hours. Tuesday - Friday. Minimum group size required is 7 students, 2 hrs tuition. Organisation of the group will be left to a single point of contact - Note: Tuition will not take place at Taupo nui-a-Tia College, an alternative venue will be arranged. Please contact us directly for further details. Cost: $70 per student - (2hrs). The use of the 2hrs will be discussed by arrangement with the organiser of the home school group.
Alternative Group Tuition
At this stage StudyPoint's primary focus is on providing tuition to secondary aged students during term time however it may be possible to accomodate additional groups during, or outside of school hours, upon request. Please contact us further to discuss.
Zoom Based Tuition
StudyPoint can cater for students that do not live within the Taupō region. If you are interested in Zoom lessons then please feel free to contact us.
One-One Tuition or Online Tuition - During Daytime.
One to One or Online Tuition can be organised during school hours - (physical venue Acacia Bay, Taupo) - 1 hour lesson $70 - Subject to availability.
The importance of study
Doing well at school isn't necessarily about being 'bright', it's more about how you manage your stress levels and workloads.
Breaking your work into small and manageable pieces will allow you to better meet deadlines, maintain and grow your knowledge base and develop all important life skills. Leaving things last minute is not the answer!
